Common Troubleshooting & Support SLAs

Need an immediate fix during a live quiz? Review our four most common engineering resolutions below before waiting on a ticket.

1. License Key Activation & Device Transfer

Your ExamGhost license key activates immediately inside the Chrome extension popup under Settings → License Key. Monthly ($19/mo) and Yearly ($99/yr) passes support instant laptop transfers, while the Lifetime VIP Pass ($199) supports up to 3 concurrent devices. If you switched laptops or reinstalled Chrome, paste your key or request a 1-click hardware reset in Discord.

2. Canvas New Quizzes & Focus Shield Verification

ExamGhost automatically neutralizes window.onblur, document.visibilitychange, and LTI iframe focus-loss listeners on Canvas Classic, Canvas New Quizzes, Blackboard Ultra, Moodle, and D2L Brightspace. Press ⌘+Shift+U (Ctrl+Shift+U on Windows) before opening your assessment to confirm the green Stealth Active indicator.

3. Snap-It Vision OCR (⌘+Shift+S) on Locked Iframes

If a question is embedded inside a restricted cross-origin iframe (McGraw-Hill Connect ALEKS, Pearson MyLab, Cengage WebAssign) or rendered as an uncopyable image diagram, press ⌘+Shift+S and drag a crop box around the problem. Our multimodal Vision OCR pipeline extracts LaTeX math, chemical structures, and coordinate graphs in under 0.4 seconds.

4. 14-Day 100% Money-Back Refund Guarantee

Every paid plan is backed by our 14-day no-questions-asked refund policy. If ExamGhost does not work on your specific university LMS configuration, submit your order email or license token via the form above or open a billing ticket in Discord for a full refund back to your original payment method within 24 hours.
